Speaking of iPhones, one starts thinking about all those heated debates on Android vs iOS, or how expensive or how flashy an iPhone is etc. Well we decided to analyze the ground situation and write something off the mainstream media. We will give you 5 Good Reasons, why not to buy an iPhone. iPhone users take pride in showing off their phones and some of them even try to make others feel inferior, well, we will try to bust that myth today. Before beginning, I would like to make it clear that there are no hard feelings against iPhone users or against Apple. We love Apple but the logic must prevail. So, here are 5 Good Reasons, why not to buy an iPhone.
#1 They are overpriced
Some of you might readily agree that iPhones are overpriced and some of you might not. Apple has to realize that technology evolves really fast. You just can’t keep it stagnant. One day or the other, you’ll be washed away if you try stopping the flow of technology. I know iPhone uses some of the finest technology present in the world and they have a lot of patents for technologies but the real power lies in keeping the technology cheaper and within the reach of the masses. There are brands offering much more than an iPhone at quarter the price of an iPhone.
#2 No Bluetooth
This is perhaps the moment when even an iPhone user feels frustrated. Since there’s no Bluetooth in an iPhone, life becomes extremely tough. Sharing music, files, images etc all takes place using third party apps which not only requires data but also a big chunk of your time. iPhone users find the family get-together really hard, when cousins refuse to WhatsApp the images. Hard luck iPhone users.
#3 Android is more open
Android is obviously way more open than iOS. It’s more customizable. You can play with an Android phone, you can try out new ideas, new things but for iPhone users – all this is just not possible. Android offers much more than iOS, if you leave the user-interface aside. Android is open source and thus gets lots of updates and new tweaks. Android users can enjoy custom ROMS etc, and all this will be a distant dream for an iPhone user- may be always.
#4 Apple iTunes Store Sucks
Agree or not, iTunes store sucks. Everything you like comes with a price tag. There are apps that are free obviously but maximum of the top apps on iTunes are paid. This increases the maintenance cost of an iPhone by a great extent. iTunes also has way lesser apps than Google PlayStore. iOS developers are there but Android developers just completely takes them over.
#5 Customer Care Service are hard to find
iPhone has made its way to almost every city in India. There are iPhone users even in villages now but the customer care services are lagging behind in this race. When my iPhone broke down, I had to send it over to some other city to get it fixed. This is bad, isn’t it?
Well that’s it. I hope I have given you enough reasons to keep your moral high in front of iPhone users. And as usual, I am open to all your queries.
