Xolo has proceeded in their attempt to cover the Indian smartphone market with one more device. This time, the device is targeted towards the ultra-affordable price section as it is carrying the price tag of just 5,699INR.
Since last month, we have seen a lot of phones launching in this section which is still lead by Moto E and Xiaomi Redmi 2. But, they are not the only two devices which are doing good in sales.
Coming at the specifications, Xolo Prime is running Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and is powered by MediaTek MT6582M chipset having quad-core 1.3GHz processor. 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage completes the CPU. Mali 400MP GPU is also the part inside.
Dual SIM card slots are placed along with a microSD that can support an additional storage card of 32GB size. 5MP and VGA (0.3MP) are the camera units. The rear one is equipped with LED flash and autofocus.
The display at the front measures 4.5inch in size offering a resolution of 540×960 pixels. The display is having a pixel density of 218ppi.
Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G are present along with sensors like accelerometer, proximity and ambient light. 9.5mm is the official thickness of the device.
With all these specifications, a 1,800mAh battery is placed inside which can deliver up to 20.8 hours of talk time at 2G network and 10 hours at 3G.
Two days ago, YU has launched YUPHORIA at the price of 6,499INR featuring 2GB of RAM and a metal body. Of course, it is the best device offering high specs in this price range. But, that’s not going to be available in the offline market.
