Asus recently rolled out the much-awaited Asus ZenPad C 7.0 in the Indian market. The tablet was received by the foreign users too, in fact, the tablet has managed to garner some fan following in countries like the United Kingdom and other European markets. Asus ZenPad C 7.0 was launched in Indian phone market in late July and was soon made available for buyers. Since this tablet is still trying to make a mark on the Indian audience, we decided to have a look at it ourselves. So here’s what we at Nissat think about Asus ZenPad C 7.0
Asus ZenPad C 7.0 is powered with a 3450mAh Li-Po battery. For a normal tablet of 7 inches, this is the normal battery size. Since the screen size is too big, that’s why they are fitted with big batteries. Asus ZenPad C 7.0 claims to run for 8hours on TalkTime. Well, I would say that’s pretty low. 8hours on TalkTime means around 5 hours on 3G and that really poor as far as the battery backup is concerned.
Built and Display
Asus ZenPad C 7.0, as mentioned earlier is a 7inch tablet with 600×1024 screen resolution and 170ppi pixel density. The screen resolution is something that could have been a bit better. It should have had at least full HD display. As far as dimensions are concerned, it’s an 189 x 108 x 8.4 mm phone weighing around 265grams. The tablet sure is light and sleek but the screen resolution is way too low. Asus ZenPad C 7.0 supports multitouch up to 10fingers and as a cherry on top, Asus has put on an oleophobic coating on the screen. This oleophobic coating will make your screen oil repellent and you won’t have to deal with oil marks on your screen again and again.
Operating System and Processor
Asus ZenPad C 7.0 comes with Android Lollipop (v5.0) and as far as the processor is concerned, Asus ZenPad C 7.0 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and features Intel Atom x3-C3200 chipset. Lastly, Asus ZenPad C 7.0 uses the Mali-450MP4 GPU for processing the graphics. The processor is not that fast for sure and might end up giving users really bad experience.
Memory and Camera
Asus ZenPad C 7.0 comes in two variants with different internal memory sizes. The first one comes with 8GB internal memory and the other one comes with 16GB of internal memory. Both the versions are upgradeable to 64GB via external memory card. For the RAM part, Asus ZenPad C 7.0 is embedded with 1GB of RAM. Coming to the camera quality, Asus ZenPad C 7.0 is having a 5MP primary camera with a maximum aperture size of f/2.0. There’s a secondary VGA camera for clicking selfies. Camera too is a big let down to the tech community.
We ran the AnTuTu benchmark test on Asus ZenPad C 7.0 and it scored 22986 points. Well, that’s not a really big score for a tablet like this. When we checked this device on other benchmark apps it scored on a similar basis. On Hudl 2 it scored 2110 points.

How To Factory Data Reset Asus Zenpad C 7.0?
Asus ZenPad C 7.0 could have been a great tablet in the price range it comes but sadly, the Asus team didn’t do a lot of market research and they ended up creating something like Asus ZenPad C 7.0. Overall I’d give this a 2.5 on our rating scale of 5. Yes, it’s a 2.5/5 tablet.
