Coolpad Note 3 has been a very successful opening batsman for the Coolpad innings in India. The phone was alongside, the Lenovo K3 Note, perhaps the most recommended smartphones in the under Rs 10,000 category. However, with time, the internals of the device have started to age and with the RedMi Note 3 and other choices in the bracket such as the LeEco Le 1s there, the Note 3 is coming close to conceding victory. However, one last hurrah in order to keep the phone a tasty proposition still is a price cut that invariably comes.
The Coolpad Note 3 is available for Rs 500 short for Rs 8,499 on Amazon now for the black variant. The phone will continue to remain an online exclusive product, however at this price point, you would really struggle to find a device with better internals than the Coolpad device.
On the specifications front, you get a 5.5 inch 720P display with a pixel density of 267. The phone is powered by a MediaTek 6753 SoC with 3GB of RAM. The internal storage on the device is 16GB and you do have an expansion slot present as well. On the camera front, the Coolpad Note 3 comes with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter. There is a 3000 mAh removable battery, but the USP of the phone is that it comes with a fingerprint scanner even at such a low cost. The Coolpad Note 3 is available on open sale and can be purchased right away. A word of caution if you are from the UP, that this price cut does not seem to apply for people living in UP.
