The Fastest Smartphones of 2013 till now – All Running on Android JB

August 19, 2013 by Pawan Kumar

Ever since Android OS has joined the mobile phone ball, the specifications of the mobile phones have grown up like hell. Now we’ve mobile phones even faster than laptop and PCs and these we named as the Smartphones.

No doubt, iPhone is the best smartphone ever manufactured but still it’s not the fastest smartphone. Apple will announce iPhone 5S soon (probably on September 10 this year) but still I don’t expect it to get the crown of fastest smartphone of 2013.

Snapdragon or Exynos 5 – Fastest Smartphone Processor?

These two processors are fighting up for the crown of fastest smartphone processor ever but it’s the Snapdragon which won the race.

Samsung Galaxy S4 was the only smartphone that was running on Exynos 5 processor but later Samsung released a newer version of the same Galaxy S4 that was running on Snapdragon processor. This clearly reflects that which one is fastest smartphone processor. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 is right now the fastest smartphone processor on the earth.

The Fastest Smartphones of 2013

As I mentioned above that the Snapdragon processors are the fastest ones so the fast smartphones of 2013 all run on the same processor (but different variants). Here is the list with few details of the fastest smartphones of 2013.

LG G2

LG G2 was launched recently in the month of September and it runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor which is clocked at 2.26GHz and it’s a quad core processor which is supported by Adreno 330 GPU.

The device spots 5.2inch display with 1080p resolution, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, LTE compatibility, 13MP rear camera, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and Infra red.

This means, LG G2 is right now the fast smartphone on the earth in 2013 but half of the year is still remaining and we’ll definitely see few more devices joining this list here.

Sony Xperia Z Ultra

Xperia Z Ultra features the same luxurious Xperia Z design and it is the costlier smartphone from Sony. It runs on Snapdragon 800 quad core processor which is clocked at 2.2GHz and supported by Adreno 330 GPU. There is 2GB RAM and 16GB storage inside and it can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.

The fastest smartphone from Sony features 6.4 inch display with 1080p resolution and supports up to 10 fingers multi touch. This smartphone is going to cover the mid range between smartphone and tablet so it can be termed as a Phablet.

Sony Xperia Z Ultra

Three more fastest smartphones of 2013 are Samsung I9505 Galaxy S4, LG Optimus G Pro and HTC One. All three smartphones runs on Snapdragon 600 processor and supported by Adreno 320 GPU. Among these three, Galaxy S4 has got the fastest processing speed while Optimus G Pro and HTC One both are having equivalent benchmarks.

Wrap up

The list of best and fastest smartphones of 2013 is still not ended yet! The 2013 is still remaining and there will be few more smartphones joining the list here. So stay tuned to our blog to get the update on fastest smartphones.

Right now the LG G2 has won the crown and let see for how many weeks or months, it holds this crown.
