The Google’s flagship smartphone – Nexus 6 made by Motorola is all set to be launched in India soon. Well, in a recent development, the 32 GB variant of the device has been spotted on e-commerce portal Flipkart with a ‘Coming Soon’ tag tipping that an imminent launch of the device in the country. However, the e-tailing portal has not revealed any information pertaining to the pricing and availability of the Nexus 6.
Even Google Play India page has not divulged any details about the arrival of Nexus 6 in the country. But, it has put up a listing of the Nexus 9 tablet revealing that the slate will be priced at Rs 28,900 that also comes with the ‘Coming Soon’ status.
For now, we have no clues on whether the Nexus 6 made by Motorola will be exclusive to Flipkart and to the Google Play India page or if it will be made available via all the e-commerce portals operating in the country. Anyways, we need to wait until the official release of the device in India.
While we have no clues regarding its pricing, it is expected that the Nexus 6 will cost around Rs 45,000. The pricing syncs with the pricing of the device in the US market where it went for sale for $649 (approx. Rs 40,000) and $699 (approx. Rs 43,000) for the 32 GB and 64 GB variants respectively.
Detailing on its specifications, the Nexus 6 boasts of a 5.96 inch QHD display with 2560×1440 pixel resolution as in the LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 that results in 493 ppi pixel density. Operating under its hood is a 2.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor supplemented with 3 GB of RAM.
Imaging wise, the Nexus 6 comes with a 13 MP primary camera at its back with dual LED Ring flash and a 2 MP front facing selfie camera. The Android 5.0 Lollipop device gets energized by means of a 3,220 mAh battery that is housed by it.
