In the starting of this month (August 2013), Facebook introduces a new feature that will let users to embed Facebook post on website or blogs easily. This feature is already been provided by Instagram, Twitter and few more social networking website and now Facebook is following them.
Those who don’t know what is embedding of Facebook post is all about then I’ll guide you here and I got simple tutorial as well that will guide you to embed Facebook post on website or blog. Don’t worry the process of doing it is extremely simple, just follow the steps mentioned in the tutorial.
What is embedding of Facebook post?
The term embedding refers to one simple feature which allows users to share their post on any other website across the internet. Like you may have seen Twitter profiles and tweets are embedded in websites and the same process goes with embedding YouTube videos too. Now the same feature is available on Facebook too.
This feature will give website owners an option to let their users know what they posted earlier on Facebook. Before this feature was introduced, you were either taking screen shot of what you posted on Facebook or you use to write it again.
How to embed Facebook post on website
I found this “Embed post” feature working with every status I found in my News Feed. Go through the simple steps mentioned below,
- Open your Facebook account, scroll through News Feed and choose any post that you want to embed.
- Now click on option icon which is there with every status or post and select Embed Post option from the little menu.
- Now a popup will arrive with the source code, copy the source code and paste it on any website where you want to see that post embedded.
I’ve embedded below one post that was recently posted on our Facebook Fan page.
Another Way to embed Facebook post on website
Now if you’re not able to embed the Facebook Post on your Blog or Website by using the above mentioned way then you may try this:
<div data-href=”
Facebook-Post-URL“></div>
Copy the above Code and replace the “Facebook-Post-URL” with your Facebook post URL which you would like to embed on your blog or website & paste it wherever you want to embed the post.
So this was the simple trick. Like Twitter, Instagram and other social networks, now Facebook posts will also be seen around the internet.
