Ending the rumour era of a cheaper model of the flagship smartphone in 2015, HTC today has launched One E9+ in India. The device was earlier unveiled in an event in Beijing but coming with it in India was a big surprise.
This isn’t the first smartphone launched in today’s event as One M9+ was also launched for the price of 52,500INR. And the E9+ is going to be the cheaper version of the same.
Due to that ‘cheap’ tag, the device possesses an all plastic cover at the back but the metal frame is still there around the sides.
HTC One E9+ Specifications
The new device features a 5.5inch big display with whooping Quad HD resolution (2k). The new processor bundled inside is Xelio X10 which can stretch up to 2.0GHz processing speed.
The CPU holds onto an octa-core architect along with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Following are the rest of the specifications you may be interested in knowing.
- MediaTek MT6795m Chipset
- Octa-core 2.0GHz processor
- 3GB of RAM
- 16GB internal storage with microSD card slot
- 5.5inch Display
- Quad-HD resolution (1440×2560 pixels)
- 20MP rear (f/2.2) camera
- BSI sensor, autofocus and LED flash
- 4MP UltraPixel Selfie camera
- Android Lollipop 5.0.2 OS with HTC Sense 7.0
- LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC
- 7.5mm thick and 149gram of weight

With all that specifications, it doesn’t look like a medium-budget smartphone at all. But since it doesn’t carry the premium build so its pricing may range between 30-35k INR.
If that price is too much for this device for you to afford then an affordable Desire series device has also been launched.
Its HTC Desire 326G featuring a quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 8MP rear camera, 2MP selfie camera, and 2000mAh battery. For the moment, only these details are known and it looks to be priced around 12-15k INR (according to early pricing strategies).
Both these smartphones along with newly released (with these two) One M9+ with fingerprint sensors, will be available from next month throughout the country both at offline and online retailers.
We will keep you posted. Stay tuned!
