Huawei Honor 6 and MediaPad Honor T1 Launched in India, Prices Starting from Rs 9,999

Huawei has announced the launch couple of devices in the Indian market today and they are Honor 6 smartphone and MediaPad Honor T1 tablet priced at Rs 19,999 and Rs 9,999 respectively. Both the devices are exclusively available via online retailer Flipkart.

On the specifications front, the Huawei Honor 6 comes fitted with a 5 inch LTPS display with FHD screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and is based on Android 4.4 KitKat platform topped with Emotion UI 2.3. Under the hood, the handset is powered by an octa-core Huawei Kirin 920 processor paired with Mali T628 graphics engine and 3 GB of RAM.

The imaging requirements of the users are handled by a 13 MP primary snapper paired with Sony BSI sensor, F2.0 aperture and dual LED flash and a front-facing 5 MP selfie camera. The device packs an ample 16 GB of native storage support and there is a micro SD card slot supporting expandable storage.

Other aspects of the Huawei Honor 6 smartphone include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC and GPS along with dual SIM functionality. Also, there is a 3,100 mAh battery that should suffice in delivering a decent backup.

On the other hand, the Huawei MediaPad Honor T1 is given an 8 inch IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels and uses a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor teamed up with Adreno 302 graphics unit and 1 GB of RAM. Fueled by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean layered with Emotion 1.6 UI, the tablet uses a 5 MP main camera and a VGA selfie camera.

There is 16 GB storage and it can be extended externally by another 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. Other goodies onboard the tablet are 3G voice calling, Wi-Fi, Blutooth, GPS/aGPS and a 4,800 mAh battery.

While the Huawei Honor 6 priced at Rs 19,999 will be made available from October 6, the Huawei MediaPad Honor T1 costing Rs 9,999 will be available starting from October 10.
