Trust me, this isn’t the first tablet launched by the iBall under its Slide branding. They have been doing this regularly. The new tablet which was launched today features voice-calling and has 8inch HD display.
The tablet unit is named iBall Slide 3G i80 and it is priced 10,499INR. Intel Atom processor is powering up the whole device. Let’s see if it holds some interesting features or not.
The 8inch display is added to an IPS panel which can support the maximum resolution of 800×1280 pixels, thus, clearly making it compatible with playing HD videos and certain starting standards of full HD videos.
The Intel Atom Z3735F chipset is powering up the device which has the quad-core processor with clock speed of 1.33GHz. It can also burst up to 1.86GHz during intense requirement.
1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and expandable storage slot (microSD card of maximum 32GB size) are part of the CPU. An unknown version of Android is running the device and I’m pretty sure it will be KitKat at least.
5MP and 2MP camera units are there at rear and front, respectively. The rear one misses the LED flash, but it does have autofocus intact.
3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, microHDMI, and USB OTG are the connectivity options. 4,400mAh battery is the main power source inside.
Sandeep Parasrampuria, Director of iBall, said during the launch event that, “We take pride in presenting our first Android based Tablet on Intel platform. Intel is undisputedly most powerful processor and its X86 architecture makes it stand apart. We are sure iBall 3G-i80 with Intel processor and power packed with very exciting specifications will be well liked by every user. It will surely deliver terrific performance.”
“We would like to congratulate iBall on the launch of its new Intel® Processor powered tablet. The new iBall tablet powered by the Intel® Atom™ Processors will not only provide an ideal balance of performance and battery life but will also deliver a great value for money proposition to its users.”
With all that said and known, does this iBall Slide 3G i80 sounds worth to you for the price of 10,499INR?
