Intex Aqua Xtreme with Octa Core SoC Launched for Rs 11,490

December 11, 2014 by Abhinaya Prabhu

The domestic smartphone manufacturers are looking forward to launch several octa core handsets with reasonable price tags to lure consumers who are seeking value for the money they shell out. Going on the same lines, an active vendor, Intex has come up with another octa core smartphone, Intex Aqua Xtreme after the launch of the Aqua i5 Octa in the last week. The latest smartphone from the vendor is priced at Rs 11,490 and it comes with an impressive spec sheet for this pricing.

When it comes to the technical specifications front, the Intex Aqua Xtreme is bestowed with a standard 5 inch IPS HD display that comes with a resolution of 1280×720 pixel resolution translating to a pixel density of 294 pixels per inch. Operating within the smartphone is a 1.7 GHz octa core processor, but the exact chipset used remains undisclosed. This processor is assisted by 2 GB of RAM that should be facilitating swift multitasking that is expected from devices in this class.  intex aqua xtreme

In terms of storage, the Intex Aqua Xtreme is given ample 32 GB of native storage capacity that is hardly found on mid-range devices with affordable pricing. While this memory capacity should suffice all the storage needs of users, Intex has also provided a micro SD card slot on the device to expand the storage by another 32 GB.

The imaging hardware includes a 13 MP primary snapper that is teamed LED Flash and object tracking feature that will adjust the focal subject while clicking movable objects. In addition, the Aqua Xtreme flaunts a 5 MP front facing snapper for video conferencing and snapping self portrait shots.

Other goodies of the Intex Aqua Xtreme include Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth for connectivity on the go. It is fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and is claimed to be upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop. A 2,000 mAh battery operating under the hood is believed to pump in a decent backup to the smartphone.

From its specifications, the Intex octa core smartphone would definitely be a competitor to the Xiaomi Redmi Note, Micromax Canvas Gold A300 and Alcatel One Touch Flash to mention a few.
