Everyone is waiting for the iPhone 5S and they all know that it will be having few minor upgrades with the same iPhone 5 design. I’m not interested in writing about that instead I’m really excited that what next Apple will bring to the iPhone.
Last year when the Apple was preparing for the launch event of iPhone 5 then people were expecting that they will get a smartphone with flexible display. But not a single of their dream came true.
According to lots of news related to flexible displays, they will not arrive before 2016 in the market. Though the displays have been already prepared but they need to be tested thoroughly before coming out in the user’s hands.
iPhone 6 Expectations
Now coming back to what iPhone 6 will have. Yes, it’ll be known by the iPhone 5s or iPhone 6 as it is the 6th version of iPhone and it will have a bigger display.
Android smartphones like Note 2 and Galaxy S3 are leading because people want to have bigger display smartphones but Apple has provided only up to 4 inch of display till now. Now to sue Samsung and other brands, Apple needs to increase the display size of the next iPhone.
Processor will be off course the quad core and it’ll have the A7 printed on it. The GPU will also be having quad cores to provide even better graphics performance. The internal RAM will be 2GB and the storage will be at least 16GB.
Apple will not provide slot for memory expansion but the iPhone 6 will be having 128GB storage option but it will cost you the highest.
The LTE will be there with the dual band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless data connectivity. Apple will update the iPhone 6 with one more wireless data connectivity feature i.e. NFC (Near Field Communication).
Now coming to camera section, Apple has always provided a little DSLR within the iPhone and now in the iPhone 6 the camera optics will be further improved. The rear camera will have higher than 8MP camera that will be supported with LED flash.
Video and image stabilization will be improved further that will increase the quality of pictures and videos. Front camera, the FaceTime will be having about 2MP camera that will be able to record videos with full HD resolution.
The biggest thing for me that will be there in the iPhone 6 is the all new iOS. Apple will be planning to develop a newer version of the iOS and a fresh look will be there.
What about Maps?
Developing 3D maps was good but it was a revolutionary mistake that might have ruined Apple stocks. I’m calling it revolutionary mistake because no one accepted Apple maps and they were looking for the Google Maps.
Now in the upcoming iOS, Apple may be looking for providing an updated version of Apple Maps that will cover out previous mistakes so that people start using it.
On the other hand, I must say there is no need of doing so as Google Maps are perfect and people really enjoy using them.
Time
Following the tradition of launching events, Apple would follow the same first the iPhone 5S will be launched in the Q3 and the iPhone 6 will be launched in Q4 as Apple always launches a half-step S model before the launch of next numbered iPhone.
