Lenovo has been promoting its smartphones for their immense battery life. Remember that TV commercial featuring Ranbir Kapoor?
Taking things further ‘For Those Who Do’, a brand new Lenovo P70 is up for pre-order for Indian consumers. The device is priced just 15,999INR and it starts shipping 14th of April this month.
Taking its impressive battery life promise on a serious note, Lenovo has bundled this device with whooping 4000mAh battery. Even, recently released flagships from Samsung and HTC don’t have that much battery juice inside. That clearly means that it’s not just a marketing gimmick.
Right now, the Android powered smartphone is available only in Midnight Blue color and comes with one year of warranty from the manufacturer.

Lenovo P70 Official Specifications
The device is featuring rectangle slab-like design, just like early Xperia flagships from Sony. It got rounded edges for better comfort, although it’s yet to check the device personally.
Coming on to CPU side, it is powered by MediaTek MT6752 chipset featuring True8Core (Octa-Core) 1.7GHz processor. 2GB of RAM is also there along with 16GB of internal storage for ensuring enough memory for CPU and users. This combination clearly looks a better one, even for gaming. The only feature that may disappoint you over here is that there is no slot for expanding the storage.
LTE (4G) cellular bands are supported right out of the box along with previous 3G and 2G ones. Dual SIM slots (supporting both micro SIM cards) are in there to further enhance its grip on the Indian market.
To display all those performance, 5.0inch display is there at front added on IPS panel and supporting HD resolution of (720×1280 pixels). GPS (with A-GPS), Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth (4.0) are in there for connectivity purpose.
Right now, the device comes preloaded with Android 4.4 KitKat but Lenovo had already promised for offering its devices the much-needed Android Lollipop 5.0 update.
Not forgetting the camera section, P70 got 13MP autofocus camera on rear side neighboured by a LED flash and 5MP selfie camera.
Here is the official specification of Lenovo P70.
With that massive 4000mAh battery, Lenovo promises that the device can offer pretty impressive 46 hours of talk time. Also, the phablet is just 8.9mm thick.
