Microsoft Launches Lumia 930, Lumia 830 and Lumia 730 in India Starting from Rs 15,299

Microsoft has announced the launch of a trio of Windows Phone 8.1 smartphones in the country and list includes the flagship model Lumia 930 and the two mid-rangers unveiled at IFA 2014 – Lumia 830 and Lumia 730 respectively. Let’s take a detailed look on the specifications and pricing of these smartphones below.

Lumia 930

Lumia 930 is priced at Rs 38,649 and will go on sale from October 15. It has a 5 inch ClearBlack AMOLED display with FHD 1920×1080 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. There is a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of native storage capacity.

A 20 MP PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics, BSI sensor, OIS and dual LED flash occupies the rear of the Lumia 930. At the front is a 1.2 MP front-facing selfie camera for video calling. Other aspects are 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and micro USB and a 2,420 mAh battery with integrated Qi Wireless charging support.

The Lumia 830 costing Rs 28,799 features a 5 inch HD 1280×720 pixel ClearBlack IPS LCD display and employs a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor ticking at 1.2 GHz. There is 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expanded up to 128 GB. It sports a 10 MP PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics, LED flash and “thinnest” Optical Image Stabilization and has a 1 MP front-facing camera. With standard connectivity features and Windows Phone 8.1 operating system, the smartphone is backed by a 2,200 mAh battery.

The selfie focused Lumia 730 smartphone priced at Rs 15,299 uses a 4.7 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Under the hood, is a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor backed by 1 GB of RAM. The handset packs in 8 GB of internal storage space with support for additional storage up to 128 GB. Being a selfie focused smartphone, it has a 5 MP front-facer that is coupled with a wide angle lens. Furthermore, the handset flaunts a 6.7 MP rear camera with the Zeiss optics and f/1.9 aperture to capture more light. It is packed with connectivity aspects such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and uses a 2,220 mAh battery.
