According to the recent tweets by Motorola (India) the customization program for smartphones can soon be launched in the country. For the people who aren’t aware, the Moto Maker program lets customers choose from a variety of range of hardware options. After the launch in China in plans to expand itself across all borders.
It includes options like a wooden panel or maybe a leather back for Moto X as well as Moto 360. Along with this users can choose to customize their phones from the multiple storage options as well.

The company has made an amazing comeback in India with the help of Moto E, Moto G, Moto X and Moto Turbo smartphones. Amit Boni, the general manager of Motorola Mobility, in a recent conversation with IndianExpress.com stated that they are just not a budget brand and that most people aren’t aware that Moto Turbo wasn’t supposed to come to India. He continued stating that the only reason it happened was because Motorola had the maximum number of Google Search in India after the United States.

Currently, Lenovo have acquired Motorola and has launched devices as the same price point as the Moto E. Though Boni states that this competition is nothing new. He continues telling that it has always been there and in terms of intensity, the numbers have been well for Motorola in both 2014 and 2015.
Motorola recently also launched its first Moto flagship service center in India along with introducing the Moto Van for services on the wheels in Delhi. Boni continues stating that it wants to show the customer that their relationship doesn’t end once someone buys the device. He stated that he wants customers to realize that the relationship continues after the sale as well. He added that they have over 160 service centers and along with this they plan to introduce the Moto Vans in various other cities.
