Nexus Prime: Get Your Sophisticated Phone

Nexus prime was the unofficial name for Galaxy nexus that became a rumor among people before it’s officially released. Because of many people could not wait too long for find out the official name for this phone, they tried to name it with their own prediction. The nexus prime phone is the resulted product from cooperation between Google and Samsung Company. These two companies work together to create new smart phone to continue the success of its predecessors, Nexus S and Nexus One.

Overview about Nexus Prime

Nexus prime or now also known as Samsung Galaxy Nexus is trying to enter the market by offering people a new technology that would much better than the previous version of Nexus phones. This phone is the third generation of Nexus phones and now it is already released to the public. Galaxy Nexus was firstly introduced on October 19, 2011. The first introduction of this phone was placed in Hong Kong. While the nexus prime release date in Europe is on November 17, 2011.

Nexus prime is coming with several versions. You could choose between nexus prime Verizon, nexus prime at&t or you could also choose nexus prime Sprint.  The difference in each phone is just lies on the provider that will provide you with internet connection and data. You could choose any of it that you like, depends on which provider that you usually used.

Specifications of Nexus Prime

Claimed as a better version of its predecessors, it would not be complete if you do not know the specifications of nexus prime. Here are some nexus prime specs that you might want to know. When this phone firstly introduce to the public, it is still using ice cream sandwich operating system. But now, you could find this Galaxy Nexus on jelly bean operating system. For the screen display, this phone is already using latest technology of super amoled HD screen with 1280×720 resolution. It will produce great display on the screen and you could enjoy watching video or your pictures in great quality.

The other specifications that you could find on Google nexus prime are 1GB of RAM, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera and NFC support. The size of nexus prime is smaller than Galaxy S III. The dimension of this phone is 135.5 x 67.9 x 8.9mm and the screen itself is 4.65 inches. This phone would be perfect for people who looking sophisticated phone with small size. They do not need to feel heavy anytime they bring the phone. This phone is easier to carry on than Galaxy S III.

If you are interested to buy this phone, you could get it on the phone market near you house. Now, this phone is already marketed globally. In Indonesia and Philippines, Galaxy nexus was launched in January 2012, while in Bahrain it was launched on March 2012. This phone had banned by American court because of the demands that made by Apple, but the ban for nexus prime was already lifted on July 6.
