Although there are lots of smartphones available in the market even at the price of feature phones but still I miss the old feature phones. They come with lots of advantages over smartphones but it’s really hard to find a better feature phone in the market because it’s all smartphones everywhere particularly the Android ones.
Nokia has recently announced new feature phone named Nokia 515 which is definitely going to be next device for people looking for a new feature phone. The overall design of Nokia 515 is pretty much inspired by the Lumia design. Let see what this device got in its specifications box and the features which it will add to our life.

If the specifications seems impressive to you then let’s start with the Nokia 515 Features.
Nokia 515 is made up of single piece anodised, sandblasted aluminium body which is protected by Gorilla Glass 2 protection. The display is curved a little bit, added on QVGA LCD panel and measures 2.4 inch. For typing, keyboard made up of hardened polycarbonate is there. The overall design and body looks great and this is definitely going to be the first choice in feature phone section once it gets in the market.
The device looks tall and slim as its just 11 mm thick and weighs only 101.1 gram. It will be available in two versions, one will be with dual SIM card support but both the versions will be supporting 3G HSDPA cellular network for faster wireless data connectivity. The SIM card size being supported is micro one.
One thing which I never liked about Nokia’s feature phones was that they were not having good internal storage which always made the device work slower in case we’re running two or more apps together but this problem won’t be there in Nokia 515 since there is 64MB of RAM and 256MB of internal storage. Users will be allowed to expand the storage up to 32GB using traditional microSD card.
The rear camera has got 5MP sensor which is supported by an LED flash and the camera software is going to have face detection and panorama features. There is no front camera but the rear camera is looking really good.
For faster data connectivity there has been Bluetooth and microUSB port. The best thing I found in this device is that it supports HTML browser. As it supports JAVA platform so third party apps will work on it. User’s most favorite Facebook app must be already there on the device.
FM radio with FM recording is there and call recording feature is also packed in. The device features 1200mAh BL-4U battery which is said to provide more than 10 hours of continuous talk time over 2G network.
