OnePlus One was the most pleasant surprise of 2014 by a relative new brand OnePlus. Awarded the title of “Flaghsip Killer”, the meticulously designed phone was mind boggling device which brought on board top notch hardware. It was a no compromise smartphone and grabbing hearts of millions in the process, it became a best seller smartphone.
But now there is some news about the successor of the alleged flagship killer and it rumored to named as One Plus Two. It will feature more refined features of its predecessor and will come in a metal chassis with a more premium styling appeal to it. In place of the poly-carbonate material comprising the OnePlus One, the OnePlus Two will feature a metallic body if sources are to be believed. Prices or OnePlus Two will definitely be higher than the predecessor which was launched at a price of $299 in April last year.
Reports have emerged that prices, though will be cheaper than the current crop of flagships like iPhone 6 or Samsung Galaxy S6. Pricing was the main reason behind OnePlus One’s success which was hard to get through most of the year requiring an invite to order it. Earlier, OnePlus One’s Carl Pei has confirmed that OnePlus Two will be launched in second quarter of this year. he further said that price has not been finalized for the OnePlus Two. So hoping for the best the invite system will continue based on some earlier reports as OnePlus is relatively a new brand.
