Panasonic is launching numerous smartphones one after the other in the Indian market. The latest one to come from the stable of Panasonic is the P55 that has been launched in the P lineup. The smartphone carries a price tag of Rs 10,290 and comes with moderate specifications for its pricing to make it a value for money offering.
Detailing on the specifications, the Panasonic P55 boasts of a 5.5 inch IPS display that carries a HD screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Under its hood, the device makes use of a quad-core processor ticking at 1.2 GHz clock speed. This processor is aided by 1 GB of RAM that can deliver decent multi-tasking capabilities for the pricing of the device.
The storage requirements of the users are met by a paltry memory capacity of 4 GB that can be expanded externally by another 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. For imaging, there is an 8 MP primary camera at the back of Panasonic T55 and this is paired with LED flash and better low light performance and support for FHD 1080p video recording. Also, there is s 2 MP front facing selfie camera onboard for making video calls and snapping self portrait shots.

Earlier this week, Panasonic launched the T9 smartphone in India carrying a price tag of Rs 3,750. It is an entry-level smartphone with basic specifications and it comes without 3G connectivity for faster internet access.
