Samsung after successfully unveiling the flagship for the year Galaxy S6 and its variant S6 Edge at the Mobile World Congress 2015, is all set to launch the smartphones in an upcoming event in New Delhi on March 23.
Reports have surfaced that Samsung has been sending out invites lately for the event. The global roll out of the smartphone will begin from April 10.
So considering the release date it is quite likely that it will be open up for the pre-order as is it the fashion these days.
The pricing details for the smartphones have recently emerged and according to Samsung Netherlands website which has put the official price of Galaxy S6 32 GB variant at 699 pounds which is approximately Rs. 48,500 and the 64 GB version is priced at 799 pounds which is around Rs. 55,300.
Samsung galaxy S6 Edge is priced at 849 pounds which is approximately Rs. 58,800 and the 64 GB variant is priced at 949 pounds which comes close to Rs.65,700. As of now there is no mention of the 128 GB variants of both the smartphones.
If earlier reports are to be believed then the 128 GB variant of S6 will be priced around 949 pounds and the 128 GB variant of S6 Edge will cost 1049 pounds which comes to an staggering Rs. 73,300.
Speaking of the smartphones Samsung has put almost everything they had in these smartphones. Both the smartphones featured a revolutionary design overhaul, putting theses smartphones aside from rest of the Galaxy S series so far.
Featuring Quad HD displays, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection with Samsung’s own Exynos 7 Octa-core processors both the devices were an immediate success at the launch event at Mobile World Congress this year.
