Xperia C5Sony has today announced the Xperia C5 Ultra which is a big phone. The phone has a 6 inch display and Sony claims that its the best Selfie phone they have produced till date. The Xperia C series are phones that are selfie centric and have always come with good front facing cameras.

The C series got its major bump with the Xperia C3 which started the whole selfie trend and came with a 5 megapixel front facing camera with LED flash. They C3 was followed by the Xperia C4 Dual which was released in India a couple of months back which was bigger than the C3 and also had a 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash at the front. The Xperia C5 Ultra follows the trend and comes with a much bigger 6 inch display. Sony has managed to keep the size of the bezels down which should help in holding this mammoth phone.

The Xperia C5 Ultra gets a FullHD IPS display which Sony claims is scratch resistant. There dispaly gets he usual Sony Bravia Engine which alters the image quality that is puts out. The device is powered by a MediaTek Octa Core processor(MTK 6752), the processor is clocked at 1.7GHz and it has 2GB of RAM. The phone gets 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot that accepts cards up to 200GB.

The highlight of the phone is the camera, the device has a 13 megapixel camera (Exmor RS) at the back, a 25mm lens with 80 degree of view. The highlight of the phone is the 13 megapixel front facing camera with an LED flash. The camera has a 22mm lens and a 88 degree of view which makes it a very capable selfie phone on paper. The phone also gets all the camera modes and settings like every other Sony Smartphone. In terms of the OS, the device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The phone gets a big 2930 mAh battery that should be capable of providing at least one day of backup. Sony has launched the dual SIM variant of the phone as well called the Xperia C5 Ultra Dual and that is the model we can expect to come to India soon.
