Swipe Technologies has come up with a new device called Swipe Sense in the firm’s Fablet lineup. Swipe has priced the Sense reasonably at Rs 9,999 and has packed it with many groundbreaking features. The highlight of this ultra thin 5.5 inch Fablet is that it features a physical biometric sensor onboard making it the only fingerprint sensor equipped phone in this price bracket.
Detailing on the technical specifications front, the Swipe Sense arrives with a large 5.5 inch qHD display that packs a screen resolution of 960×540 pixels. It is claimed that this display can render a spectacular viewing experience to the users. Under the hood, the handset houses a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor that is aided by 1 GB of RAM in order to deliver exceptional performance.
Based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, the Swipe Sense an 8 MP primary snapper that is teamed up with LED flash and auto focus. Also, there is a front-facing 3.2 MP selfie camera onboard for video conferencing and clicking self portrait shots. Connectivity features in the handset include Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G, Bluetooth and USB OTG. Other goodies in the Swipe handset are 8 GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded up to 32 GB by means of a micro SD card and a 2,250 mAh battery that should suffice in deriving a decent backup to the handset. Also, Swipe is providing an additional 2,250 mAh battery in the package as well.
As mentioned above, Swipe has given handset an in-built fingerprint sensor for enhanced security purposes. The patented sensor comes with additional sensitive receptors that can record the minutest differences in the fingerprints, thereby making the smartphone a security vault. The users can configure each finger for a purpose using the sensor at the back of the handset.
Besides the incorporation of a fingerprint sensor, the Swipe Sense also comes with a gesture control mechanism that allows the users to control their device using gestures even when the display is turned off. Users are free to create their own gestures and assign them to any task. The ‘always on’ mode lets the users to enjoy the hands-free experience.
