Most of us use Facebook and Youtube on a daily basis, but when did those sites start, and how much have they changed over the last ten years?
Facebook was created by Mark Zuckerberg and his roommates and was initially called thefacebook.com. Facebook was only accessible to students at Harvard College. In December 2015, it was reported that Facebook was being used by 1.6 billion people worldwide. That’s some rate of growth!
Youtube has created around 11 years ago and brought video-sharing the masses. Created by former Paypal employees, it was bought soon after its creation by Google.
