Today, Videocon has announced the launch of a slim smartphone called Infinium Z50 Quad. This new offering with a sleek design is priced attractively at Rs 7,349 and is based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.
The Infinium Z50 Quad is a dual SIM smartphone that houses a 5 inch IPS display with a qHD screen resolution of 960×540 pixels making it standard yet usable. The handset gets powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor of unknown chipset that is assisted by 1GB of RAM for jiffy and fast multi-tasking.
The Videocon smartphone boasts of a 5 MP auto focus camera at its back that is accompanied with LED flash for an enhanced low light performance. There is a 2 MP front facing camera as well on the Infinium Z50 Quad to make the device handy for video calling clicking selfies. There is 8 GB of internal storage capacity in the Videocon smartphone that can be extended externally up to 32 GB by means of a micro SD card.
Connectivity options on the Infinium Z50 Quad are 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, micro USB and dual SIM support. The 1,900 mAh battery operating under its hood is expected to render a moderate backup to the smartphone.
Last month, Videocon announced the launch of its latest flagship smartphone called Infinium Graphite that is priced at Rs 10,499. The smartphone running on Android 4.4 KitKat platform is given a 4.7 inch LTPS OGS display that has HD screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The device is layered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front and back to withstand scratches.
The Infinium Graphite makes use of a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor teamed up with 1 GB of RAM and bundles 16 GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded externally up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. There is an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front-facing selfie camera as well.
