Yesterday the tech world witnessed the first great launch of the year 2015. Yes! we are talking about the windows 10’s launch ceremony. Keynote was held at windows own headquarters near Seattle. Windows 10 developer preview has been already released and yesterdays was the official launch of Windows 10.
Well the company is really trying to get deep in to the users heart. Microsoft is providing the latest Windows 10 OS for free for those who still have the genuine version of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. If you are not a genuine user you still can purchase digitally from the Windows store. OS’s optical media’s are also available. Windows 10 will be available for the Microsoft certified mobile devices which is Lumia and other platforms.
In the 10th version Windows Microsoft gotten rid of the Metro UI start and guess what? The usual Start menu has been bought back. Similar to the Google now in Android along with the Windows 8.1 mobile platform they introduced their voice assistant which is Cortana. From the Windows 10 onward you will be able to get Cortana in the PC’s also.
Compared to the Windows 8, Windows 10 has been more concentrated on increasing the touch experience to the users. Along with the Windows 10 OS. Microsoft has also launched all new re-polished office. Form this version onwards office will be called as Office 365.
Other than all these features one of the futuristic feature has been enabled on the Windows 10 OS. Windows 10 became the first OS to support the support the Holographic projections that we saw on Ironman movies!. On windows 10 this feature will be called as HoloLens. HoloLens can be used to reprogram the holographic projectors directly from the PC without 3rd party applications.
Microsoft is really working hard to make their OS a popular one. Windows 10 will be a cross platform OS. That you will be able to use it on PS’s, tablets and smartphones. Also company revealed they are planning to widen the platforms which includes televisions and other smart equipment’s.
