It is expected the Microsoft will have a new console to show off, at the E3 conference today. E3 stands for Electronic Entertainment Expo and is expected to start at around 10PM IST. Plenty of new games are expected to be announced, while popular titles are expected to see a new episode series being added. In all the news of upcoming games, the spotlight is most likely to be on Microsoft who plan to announce the XBox One S, a new slimmer and sleeker version of the XBox One. Sony, which is expected to announce a new variant of the PlayStation 4, though, will not be announcing the hardware at E3, so the field is free for Microsoft.
The image of the XBox One S was posted on the popular gaming forum, NeoGAF, so most likely, it is expected to be absolutely true. Other than sleeker and slimmer exteriors, the One S will bring 4K support, High Dynamic range as well as 2TB of storage on board. There is likely to be a new adaptor at the back for charging doing away from the big power brick being currently used as well as a USB port on the front of the console rather than on the side as it is on XBox One.
Not just this, the XBox One S is expected to come with a vertical stand too, making it really easy to be installed in places that do not have a ton of room. The controlled is expected to be slimmed down and made more streamlined. You can catch the announcement of all things gaming at E3, along with a Livestream right here.
