YotaPhone Now Available For Rs. 8999

YotaPhone might not be the most popular smartphone in the Indian smartphone market right now but it is one revolutionary device with unique features and specifications to boast off. YotaPhone was launched last year in October exclusively on Flipkart at a price tag of Rs. 23,499. After its launch in India it observed many price cuts on various occasions. Yet again prices are slashed for this smartphone now available at a price tag oof Rs. 8999 only. This new price cut has brought this awesome phone within the reach of many YotaPhone fans out there who were not able to purchase the phone earlier due to high prices. This recent price cut has made the smartphone quite a bargain.

The unique feature which sets it apart from other smartphones are the dual displays on the YotaPhone. For those who do not know YotaPhone features two displays. YotaPhone comes with a 4.3 inch LCD capacitive multi touch main display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and another 4.3 inch EPD rear screen with a resolution of 360×640 pixels. This rear display is mainly used for YotaPhone specific gesture control features. YotaPhone runs on Android Jellybean 4.2.2 which is considerably old Android version taking into account the latest version being Android Lollipop. Though there is no word whether an update will be available for this phone in future or not.

YotaPhone comes with a dual core Qualcomm  Snapdragon MSM8960 processor clocking 1.7 GHz coupled with 2 GB of RAM and built in storage is 32 GB. Most of the smartphones comes with 16 GB of internal storage. Moving on to the camera department this smartphone packs a 13 MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash capable of recording 1080p videos. A 1 MP front facing camera is present for video calling. The connectivity options on YotaPhone include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and GLONASS. Most of all it comes with a built in FM radio.

YotaPhone is drawing power from a 1800 mAh battery underneath which will provide enough juice for normal to  moderate usage. It is available at a price of Rs.8999, but some key players like Xiaomi, Lenovo, Yureka and many others are dominating this price range with several high end features and definitely superior specifications.
