Mark 1, the smartphone launched by an Indian smartphone manufacturer will be on sale tomorrow. Made by Creo, a Banglore based startup the device promises one new feature to be added every month. While people wait for manufacturers to push OS updates, Creo plans on doing on a monthly basis.
The phone will go on sale on the manufacturer site and the first 2,000 buyers can avail free engraving service as well as a free mobile case. The Creo Mark 1 sports a Metal body and users do have an option to engrave their names or a few words onto it. The phone has a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (QHD) and Gorilla Glass 3 Protection.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 processor which is an Octa-core processor clocked at 1.95GHz. There is 3GB of RAM onboard along with 32GB of storage that is expandable up to 128GB. The phone has impressive cameras, a 21-megapixel camera (Sony IMX 230) at the back which is capable of a 4K video recording and 120FPS Slo-Mo Video. The front camera is an 8-megapixel camera with F/2.0 that is capable of FullHD videos.
The software powering the phone is called Fuel OS which runs on top of Android. The best bit is that Creo has made a lot of changes to make the user experience better. Sense, a quick search that lets users get to any app or contacts using the universal search. Retriever, a feature that helps you track your phone. Even if the phone is stolen, it sends a mail to the email ID configured the moment a new SIM is put it. The Mark 1 is a Dual SIM phone with a 3100mAh battery. Priced at Rs 19,999 the phone offers decent hardware and very promising software.
