Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 with Voice Calling Announced Officially for Rs 14,999 Onwards

Dell has announced the launch of the voice calling variants of its refreshed Venue 7 and Venue 8 tablets in India. The firm has announced that these tablets will be priced at Rs 14,999 and Rs 18,999 respectively. Dell has announced the Venue 7 and Venue 8 tablets without voice calling and 3G support back in February.

Both these tablets are fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and they are bundled with 20 GB of free Dropbox cloud storage space for a year.

When it comes to specifications, the Dell Venue 7 boasts of a 7 inch IPS display with carries a screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels. It makes use of a dual-core Intel Atom Merrifield processor supplemented with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of native storage capacity that can be further extended externally up to 64 GB using a micro SD card.

When it comes to the imaging department, the tablet boasts of a 5 MP primary camera and a 1 MP front facing snapper. Also, there is support for 3G voice calling, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity and a 4,550 mAh battery powers the Venue 7 from within.

The Dell Venue 8, on the other hand, is fitted with an 8 inch IPS display that packs a screen resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and it employs a 2.1 GHz Intel Atom Z3480 processor that is backed by 1 GB of RAM. The storage department remains the same as in the Venue 7 as the device comes packed with 16 GB of native storage capacity that can be expanded up to 64 GB with the help of a micro SD card.

While the connectivity aspects of the Dell Venue 8 and its battery remain identical to the Venue 7, the device comes with a 5 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front facer.

Both the Dell tablets arrive with Waves MAXXAudio Pro audio technology for premium audio experience. Also Dell has come up with protective cases for these tablets and a Cradle or Dell Venue Rotating Folio for the Venue 8.
