The HTC Desire Eye that was unveiled in October in India is likely to be priced at Rs 35,990. The vendor is yet to announce the official pricing of the device, but the entrusted retailer @Mahesh Telecom has revealed the possible pricing of the Desire Eye. Notably, HTC announced this smartphone alongside the One M8 Eye and claimed that it will be available exclusively available via e-commerce portal Amazon India.
To refresh on its technical specifications, the Desire Eye is bestowed with a 5.2 inch Full HD display carrying a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The screen is layered with the protective Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating that will render better safety on everyday usage. The Desire Eye is energized by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor ticking at 2.3 GHz clock speed. This processor is assisted by Adreno 330 graphics engine and 2 GB of RAM for swift multitasking.
Fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat layered with Sense 6.0 UI on top, the Desire Eye boasts of dual 13 MP front and rear camera lenses that are teamed up with dual LED flash for superior performance even under low ambient conditions. The main camera at the back is teamed up with f/2.0 aperture, 28 mm lens and FHD 1080p video recording. On the other hand, the front facer equips f/2.0 aperture and 22 mm wide angle lens that will facilitate in capturing wider selfies. This impressive imaging hardware is teamed up with software aspects including Face Tracking, Split Capture, Live Makeup, Crop Me In, Auto Seflie and others.
The Desire Eye bundles 16 GB of internal storage space that can be further extended externally by another 128 GB with the help of a micro SD card. The connectivity features onboard the Desire Eye include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and GPS. Also, a 2,400 mAh battery powers the smartphone operating under its hood. Other aspects of the smartphone include dual front facing stereo speakers with inbuilt amplifiers, HTC BoomSound and water resistant build with IPX7 rating.
