iBall is in the tech headlines in the country as the vendor has come up with a new Android 4.4 KitKat based smartphone dubbed Andi 4.5M Enigma and its first Windows powered tablet, Slide WQ32. These devices are priced at Rs 8,499 and Rs 16,999 and they will go on sale in the coming weeks.
Detailing about the Andi 4.5M Enigma, the handset arrives with a 4.5 inch qHD IPS display and is incorporated with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. The handset has 8 GB of internal storage space that can be expanded externally by another 32 GB.
The smartphone packs a 13 MP primary camera with LED flash and auto focus and an 8 MP front-facing shooter with 88 degree wide angle lens. Other goodies onboard the smartphone include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, USB OTG, dual SIM functionality and a 1,500 mAh battery.
On the other hand, for the tablet it appears like iBall has collaborated with Microsoft and Intel as Slide WQ32 Tablet is the first Windows table from the vendor and it uses an Intel chipst. It is referred to as a ‘3G Business Tablet’ as well as it is loaded with capable specs.
The iBall Slide WQ32 is given an 8 inch HD IPS display and employs a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735D processor that is backed by 2 GB of RAM. Storage aspect of the tablet is impressive with 16 GB of default capacity that can be extended externally by another 64 GB. The imaging hardware of the tablet includes a 5 MP main camera and a 2 MP front-facing snapper for making video calls and clicking selfies.
The iBall tablet comes loaded with features such as in-built SIM card slot with support for 3G voice calling, HDMI, USB OTG and others. There is a 14 Wh battery in the tablet that is believed to provide a decent backup to the tablet.
As per the company statement, the iBall Slide WQ32 tablet comes pre-loaded with 1 year free subscription of Microsoft Office, Windows Defender and Firewall and 1 TB of free OneDrive storage space for a year.
