After Micromax, next India specific brand I like these days is Intex. I mean, look at them. They have covered the affordable price group pretty well, and their devices do have a decent design as well.
Moving forward in their quest, Intex has launched a brand new smartphone in the Indian market for the price of just 5,690INR, thus, making it another ultra-affordable smartphone unit.
The Intex Cloud M6 is the new release and it features a 5inch display and a 5MP selfie camera. Yay! Both these features are becoming a must-have for Indian consumers and every person out there is looking for these two things at the time of buying.
There are also few other popular specifications which Indian consumers are looking for like better processor, RAM, Android version, and internal storage, but these two are really picking up the pace, at the moment.
And, at the price of 5,690INR, this is looking a real good deal. The device also seems to have a decent looking design with a slim profile.
Intex Cloud M6 specifications
The all new Cloud M6 smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.2GHz and is paired with a uniquely attempted 1.35GB of RAM.
I’m not sure what Intex is trying to do by offering this new standard in RAM storage, as it could have been 1GB or 1.5GB, for ease. The only answer I can come up is that to minimize the pricing less, and yet attracting consumers by claiming better RAM than all other devices with just 1GB RAM. Maybe, it comes out as a well-tried attempt, but we do have to wait to see that in action.
5inch diagonally measured FWVGA is the display at front supporting a decent resolution of 480×854 pixels. There is 8GB of storage onboard including a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. Another attractive point, right?
With all those attractions, Intex isn’t in the mood to stop there. Continuing with the specifications, an 8MP camera is placed at the rear while there is 5MP at the front for selfie addicts (Insane, right?). The rear unit is supported by a LED flash and auto-focus feature.
This whole smartphone package is driven by Android 4.4 KitKat OS, which is another good feature and the connectivity features covered are dual SIM card support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3G.
A 2,000mAh battery is packed within to offer 5-6hours of continuous talk time and up to 250hours of standby time. Intex will be offering the device in White and Black color options.
Now, let me wrap up the story for all my Indian readers. If you ever wanted to have a smartphone from an Indian specific brand that can compete with massive specs of Xiaomi Redmi (1S and 2) devices, and also wanted to pay less, then this deal is for you.
Intex has built it right for the same need. So guys, will you go for it? I’ll definitely come up with a review of the device. Did I forget to mention that it will be available soon in both online and offline retailers?
