Lenovo the owner company of mine beloved Motorola brand, is in a hurry, especially with the monster smartphone category. Recently, Zenfone 2 was launched having a model with 4GB of RAM, and now the second smartphone is announced.
Lenovo K80 is what they call this monster smartphone and it is powered by 64-bit Intel Atom 1.8GHz processor. The 64GB internal storage is also there with an expandable storage using microSD card up to 32GB size.
13MP lens is at the back while front got a selfie camera of unknown MP details, but it’s there. The 5.5inch display covers the front which features full HD resolution and no doubt, it’s going to offer good viewing angles, thanks to IPS panel at the back.
Lenovo has managed to add its own skin again, but its Android Lollipop 5.0 OS under the hood, which is a sign of relief. LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS will be there inside for sure.
The Intel Atom inside is the real deal and when it is offered a massive 4GB of RAM, then it leaves no room for any kind of performance lags or flaws. We have already seen the game playing videos of Zenfone 2 which can play 5-10 very high standards of games simultaneously even while switching between them.

The design is looking pretty decent with an Intel Inside logo at the back bottom (if it gives you a sense of trust and high performance).
Reportedly, a cheaper version will also be announced soon, with the same phone name (different model number, as like the other Zenfone 2 series), and it will have 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage while keeping rest of the features common.
China will be the first one to get this Lenovo K80 device that will be available from April 30 at a price of 1,799CNY. The price converts to $290, which makes it another attractive point.
Now, among two of these devices, which one will you pick? I have no doubt about it’s coming to Indian shores. Just wait for a while!
