China based tech maker, Lenovo is all geared up to launch of the Vibe Z2 Pro in India on October 1, 2014. The vendor has started sending media invites across the country for the launch event slated to happen in Bangalore on Wednesday. The invite reads, “Make way for the Pro and The Pro Awaits You” and also reveals an image of the Z2 Pro. The same invite is also posted on the official Lenovo Facebook page and official Lenovo India website. Though it is clear that the Vibe Z2 Pro will be launched next week, there is no word regarding the newly announced Vibe X2 and we need to wait to know the same.
The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro was unveiled in August ahead of the announcement of Vibe Z2 at the IFA 2014. The Lenovo Vibe Z2 is claimed to be a selfie focused smartphone with an impressive 8 MP front facing fixed focus snapper that comes with an anti-distortion lens that can capture stunning self portrait shots without any distortion. On the rear, there is a 13 MP primary shooter that gets paired with auto focus, BSI sensor, LED flash and Optical Image Stabilization.
Running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, the Lenovo smartphone is a dual SIM device that boasts of a 5.5 inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels that can produce a brightness of 600 nits. Under the hood, the Vibe Z2 Pro is equipped with a quad-core 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that ticks at 1.2 GHz clock speed. This processor is assisted by a 2 GB of RAM to handle multitasking swiftly and efficiently. Furthermore, the chipset is based on 64 bit architecture that can benefit from the Android L update supporting high performance 64 bit computing.
The Vibe Z2 includes connectivity aspects such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and micro USB and it keeping things juiced up is a 3,000 mAh battery. The smartphone comes in a slew of color options such as White, Gold and Titanium and bundles 32 GB of in-expamdable native storage support.
