Just like the previous year, LG has announced a new phablet with stylus support. The device is named LG G Stylo and it features 5.7inch HD display that uses in-cell touch technology.
The device is announced in Korea and there are no details about its pricing and availability known at this time. Still, I’m pretty sure that the device will travel globally, just like its predecessor.
The big 5.7inch display on the front offers a resolution of 720×1280 pixels which makes it count as HD standard. Snapdragon 410 chipset is the main CPU featuring 1.2GHz quad-core processor.
1.5GB of RAM is a better choice over traditional getting 1GB, and the device also sports 8GB internal storage. Storage expansion is also available that can support a microSD card of up to massive 2TB size.
LTE is natively supported while a 3,000mAh battery is provided inside to power up the device for at least a day. 8MP and 5MP are the camera units on both rear and front sides, respectively. The rear one is neighboured by a LED flash as well.
Another eye-catching feature of this device is that it will be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS right out of the box, impressive, huh? This new version of the software is definitely going to make the device stay in competition in 2015.
In short, this is an upgraded version of last year’s G3 Stylus, with a tweaked name this year. The last year model was featuring current specifications of that time, and so does this current model which is announced now.
If you want a branded phablet with a native stylus support then no doubt, this is a good choice. We have to wait and see when this device rolls out globally.
Last year model (G3 Stylus) is available in India at a price of 15,390 INR (at the time of writing this article), and you can buy it. It is still a good deal.
If you wish to wait for the newer model then stay tuned at Nissat, as we will keep you posted. You should also follow our coverage on LG G4 which is the main flagship device from Korean brand.
