“The aim of marketing is to know and understand the customer so well the product or service fits him and sells itself.” – Peter Drucker
Following the same recipe, LG has removed curtains from its latest promotional campaign for its upcoming flagship, G4.
According to the announcement, around 4,000 trial units of LG G4 will be delivered to selected individuals and this will all be for public testing campaign.
The program has already begin in Korea and soon it will be available in 15 different countries as well. Other than Korea, following countries are included, India, Turkey, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, Canada, China, United States, Brazil, United Kingdom, France, and Germany.
It’s good to see India in the list there but no doubt, we are having the next billion industry.
How to participate in the campaign?
Just like a live page for Korea, the company will setup special webpages, running special campaigns and challenges. Anyone can participate and try to be eligible to get the trial unit.
LG is calling the event as G4 Visual Challenger. And it is strictly mentioned that the device can only be used for testing purpose, not at all for personal or commercial ones.
That means, if you are lucky to get a trial unit, then you have to share your personal review of the unit with the company representative.
Also, you will be allowed to share your experience on social media, which of course drive a huge response to the upcoming device.
Till now, brands secretly offer their upcoming devices to certain users for testing purpose but with a Non-Disclosure agreement. That means, they are not allowed to talk about anything of the unit in public domain.
But LG seems to be following a new strategy. No doubt, it will get people around the world discussing about the device.
Two days earlier, LG published first three teasers of G4 which were looking good enough and already started the buzz. But now with this fresh #PromotionalCampaign, G4 is definitely going to reach more profiles through social platforms.
LG G4’s launch date is already confirmed i.e. 28th of April. If you can’t wait any more, then you should participate in the campaign.
Checking LG’s official social profiles for your country can help you further. Try out your luck and see if you can get a LG G4 Trial Unit.
Update – You can now participate in the campaign. Here is the link for Indian customers.
