Micromax is out on a smartphone launching spree and that is all the India’s most popular smartphone brand is all about. Micromax has launched another smartphone in the market thereby extending its already popular Bolt series. Bolt S300 is the new kid on the block carrying a price tag of Rs. 3,300. Although it is listed on Micromax’s Russia website as of now but it is reported that this new smartphone will be launching in India soon. Bolt S300 will be the among the cheapest smartphones out there offering Android Kitkat 4.4 experience at this price range. Lets look what it holds inside it.
Bolt S300 will be coming with dual-SIM functionality like all the smartphone these days. What’s more exciting is that it will be running Android Kitkat 4.4.3 out of the box with almost little or no customization offering the pure kitkat experience. It comes with a 4 inch display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. It will not be the best among the displays but it will not be among the worst ones also and ideal for people who don’t like bigger displays. It will be packing a single core SpreadTrum SC 7715 processor clocking 1 GHz coupled with 512 MB of RAM. It will deliver that okay performance while multitasking. Packing a Mali 400 GPU it will not run all those heavy graphic hungry games but okay for daily use. It has 4 GB of built in storage which can be further expanded to 32 GB with micro SD card.
Bolt S300 comes with 0.3 MP cameras both rear and at front which is no doubt a real downside for this smartphone and will be targeting certain audience who is not so selfie crazy. All the usual connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, micro USB and Bluetooth are present and is powered by a 1200 mAh battery. Micromax promises that this battery will provide a 4.5 hours of talk time and 155 hours of standby time. Considering it a lower budget smartphones specifications are neat and lack those wow factor. It is currently listed on Micromax Russia website as of now with no mention on the India centric website but is reported to launching soon in India.
