Microsoft took the wraps off its first Lumia smartphone with its own branding – Microsoft Lumia 535 that we have been seeing in the rumors lately. The new Lumia smartphone will be hitting the retail shelves in China, Hong Kong and Bangladesh by the end of this month and it is available in single SIM and dual SIM variants. It is priced at Euro 110 (approx. Rs. 8,400) and the Lumia 535 Dual SIM is listed on the official website in India speculating that it will be made available soon.
Both the Microsoft Lumia 535 and Lumia 535 Dual SIM are given identical specifications except for the inclusion of dual SIM functionality in the latter. The smartphone is fueled by Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim update. There is a 5 inch IPS LCD display with a qHD resolution of 540×960 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protective layer.
The Lumia 535 is stuffed with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz supplemented with 1 GB of RAM. The device bundles 8 GB of built-in storage that is further expandable via a micro SD card up to 128 GB. Likewise the other Lumia smarphones, this one also comes with free 15 GB of OneDrive cloud storage space.
The handset comes with a 5 MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front facing selfie snapper as in the Lumia 730. The Lumia 535 is capable of providing crystal-clear imagery and comes with the Lumia selfie app as well. The smartphone also supports Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS and is energized by a 1,905 mAh battery. Users can connect accessories such as the Portable Wireless Speaker and Coloud Bang to the smartphone using Bluetooth. Also, there are colorful flip covers for the Lumia 535 that can be exchanged as per the users’ choice.
Microsoft has announced that the Lumia 535 will be available in Cyan, Bright Green, Bright Orange, White, Dark Grey and Black color variants. Also, there are pre-installed apps including Microsoft Office, Subway Surfers, Cortana, Instagram and more.
