After the huge success of Moto G and Moto X in Indian market, Motorola has launched today their new smartphone which is super affordable and no other phone is going to beat it in its price range. The phone has got good specs and good looking too. Just like their previous two models, Motorola has launched the Moto E XT1022 in India via Flipkart only which is priced at Rs 6,999 only for both Black version & White version.
If I forget about Motorola Moto E then there is no better phone available in India in this price range and this is the prime reason why phones like Lumia 520, 525 and Micromax and Samsung were used to be the only option for customers. But now Motorola Moto E is going to be the prime option and its soon going to get the crown of number one affordable smartphone.
Moto E Specs and Features
Personally I liked two things mainly of this phone which are its design and the Android OS version its coming preloaded with. It looks like Moto G (except few minor changes) which means that its design is impressive and it runs on latest version of Android OS i.e. KitKat 4.4.
This simply means that the device is packed in best design (among affordable smartphones) and runs on latest and the best version of our favorite Android operating system. Rests of the specs are as following.
- Snapdragon 200 A7 Chipset
- Dual Core 1.2GHz processor
- Adreno 302 GPU (400MHz)
- 1GB of RAM
- 4GB internal storage
- Expandable upto 32GB
- 4.3 inch qHD display
- Resolution of 540×960 pixels
- Water splash resistance and Gorilla Glass3 protected
- 5MP primary camera
- FM Radio
- 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
- GPS with Google Maps
- 1980mAh battery

Those were the highlights of the phone but features still not ended up. It comes with accelerometer, proximity and ambient light sensors which are primary sensors these days for a smartphone.
Due to the reason Indian customers are mostly looking for Dual SIM phones so Motorola has added that feature too. Yes, it does support Dual SIM cards simultaneously and the maximum 3G data speed which can be experienced is 21.1MBPS.
It’s slightly heavier than the Moto G (difference of just 2grams) and its 12.3mm thick. There is no front camera but I’m glad to see GPS in it as it really helps in finding ways easily. It comes with Moto Migrate app preloaded which helps users to transfer almost complete personal data from other Android phone to the Motorola Moto E XT1022.
The 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and dedicated GPU makes it better to play games and this particular feature is going to attract many users for sure. This simply means that there is no better competitor to this phone till now.
Last thing I want to share with you is that it got an impressive design just like Moto G. It’s slightly curved so that it fits in our palm comfortably. As its running on Android KitKat so you’re getting the best looking and performing Android version at a price tag of just Rs 6,999.
According to me, Motorola Moto E XT1022 is not going to have any competitor but if you know any then do let me know via comments. I’ll soon bring the hands-on review, so stay tuned!
