The journey started in the month of May, last year, when first generation Moto E was introduced to the country. It was followed by second generation Moto E launch just in last month. But that was the 3G version of the device.
So, as expected, Moto E (2nd Gen) LTE (4G) version also arrives in the Indian market. The device is available for sale through Flipkart and its priced 7,999INR.
With that launch, Motorola now offers three smartphones in India at the price of 6k, 7k, and 8kINR. This new launch will definitely further enhance the brand’s grip in the country.
Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G details
While most of the features remain same, between 3G and new 4G model, there are certain differences as well.
The all new 4G model of Moto E (2nd Gen) is powered by 1.2GHz processor on Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset. The 3G version holds onto Snapdragon 200 chipset. So, this is the first major differences.
With that advanced processor, the device will definitely offer better graphics and slightly improved performance. Not to forget, Snapdragon 410 is based on the 64-bit architecture so, visuals are definitely going to be strong. The software part is pretty good as its covered by Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage are common in both and so does the 4.5inch qHD display. The resolution supported is still same while Gorilla Glass 3 protection is also bundled.
If you are new to this device but were never happy with the previous generation of the device because of no selfie camera, then this new generation holds onto a good news. It does have a selfie camera (VGA one) along with 5MP rear shooter.
So, with that new processor and additional cellular connectivity, Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G is all set to rock the ultra-budget price section in the country.
