Spice has announced the launch of a new smartphone in the Stellar lineup called Spice Stellar 524 that is priced at Rs 10,799. The smartphone has been spotted on the official Spice website with no word regarding the release date of the device and we expect that the vendor would announce the launch of the device official in the coming days.
The Spice Stellar 524 fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box is fitted with a 5 inch IPS LCD display that boasts of a HD screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Under its hood, there is a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor of unspecified chipset that is supplemented with 1 GB of RAM that can render a moderate performance.
When it comes to the imaging hardware, the Spice smartphone is given a 13 MP primary camera that is teamed up with auto focus, LED flash, panorama, HDR, full HD 1080p video recording ability, smile shot, voice photo capture and other aspects. Also, there is a 3.2 MP front facing selfie camera that can help in clicking selfies and in video conferencing.
The Spice Stellar 524 is bundled with 8 GB of default storage capacity that is gradually becoming the standard of the entry-level and mid-range smartphones that are getting launched in the market. It comes packed with connectivity features such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with a-GPS and dual SIM functionality. Keeping things juiced up is an average 2,000 mAh battery that can provide a moderate backup to the Stellar 524.
Lately, the Spice Stellar 524 was listed on e-commerce portal Saholic for a discounted pricing of Rs 8,899, while the website has listed the device for Rs 10,799.
Earlier this month, Spice announced three new smartphones in its Mi lineup with the launch of Stellar Mi-503, Stellar Mi-507 and Stellar Mi-516 that are priced at Rs 6,249, Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,999 respectively.
