These days, it is raining octa-core smartphones in the entry-level and mid-range market. As the consumers have started focusing on the performance and functionality of the devices, the octa-core offerings are increasing. Last year, octa-core smartphones were prevalent only in the top-tier segment, but with the advancement of the homegrown and global manufacturers the number of such low cost devices has shot up significantly.
