Top 5 Smartphones Launched This Week Below Rs 7,000

This week, there have been numerous launched happening in the Indian smartphone market. HTC came up with five different smartphone including the Desire 820, Desire Eye, One M8 Eye and others. Apart from this, there were many other smartphones from the other vendors in the sub Rs 7,000 price bracket. We have come up five such entry-level smartphones that have made their way into the Indian market.

Zen U105 Fire

The Zen U105 Fire is based on Firefox OS 1.3 operating system and it is given a 3.5 inch display that features a pixel resolution of 320×480 pixels. The handset uses a 1 GHz Spreadtrum 6821 processor paired with 128 MB of RAM and 256 MB of internal storage space that can be expanded by another 16 GB with micro SD card. The Zen smartphone comes with a 2 MP primary camera with LED flash and a VGA front facing camera for video conferencing. Connectivity features onboard the Firefox phone include 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and dual SIM functionality and a 1,200 mAh battery.

Celkon Campus One

The Celkon Campus One is fitted with a 3.5 inch display with a HVGA screen resolution of 320×480 pixels. The device is powered by 1 GHz single core SC6815 chipset with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB of internal storage capacity that can be extended further by another 32 GB using a micro SD card. Fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat, the smartphone uses a 2 MP rear camera and a VGA front camera. There is dual LED flash in the handset to assist in low light photography. A 1200 mAh battery powers the smartphone rendering up to 4 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time respectively.  The connectivity features include 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB and GPRS.

Intex Aqua X

The Intex Aqua X houses a 4.5 inch qHD display with a resolution of 960×540 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582 processor. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, the smartphone features an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front facing camera. It has 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and dual SIM features. There is a 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded and a 1,500 mAh battery. The handset has gesture control features that let users to change FM stations and view images by hovering over the smartphone.

Panasonic T40

Panasonic T40 flaunts a 4 inch IPS WVGA display that boasts of a WVGA screen resolution of 480×800 pixels and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor. The handset is based on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage space that can be expanded externally by another 32 GB using a micro SD card. There is a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front facing camera onboard. The device has dual SIM support, 3G connectivity and a range of new software features such as Gesture Play+, draw-to-unlock gesture based feature, Pop-i Player, video player with multitasking capabilities and more. Also, a 1,500 mAh battery powers the smartphone from under its hood.

Xolo One

Xolo launched the Xolo One, its first Android One smartphone. It has a 4.5 inch FWVGA OGS display with 854×480 pixel resolution. The device is stuffed with a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582M processor aided with Mali 400 MP2 processor and 1 GB of RAM. Fueled by Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the smarphone comes with a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front facing camera. There is 8 GB of internal storage space with support for expansion storage and a 1,700 mAh battery. The connectivity features onboard the Xolo smartphone include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and dual SIM support.
