Yu Televentures has finalised the name of its upcoming smartphone that will again be powered by Cyanogen OS. The name was decided by normal people over the social media and finally Yuphoria was selected out of Yunicorn, Yunity, Yuknight and Youth.
No doubt, the buzz for the device is already begun and it won’t be a surprise if Micromax powered Yu launches the device within this month.
Till now, there aren’t many details known but we can still speculate certain specifications which may be part of the device.
Yu Yuphoria Specifications (unofficial)
As I said, these specifications aren’t official yet neither confirmed from any trusted source. So, you should take them with a pinch of salt, as I can see the excitement in knowing any possible details about this upcoming Yu phone.
- Cyanogen OS 12 (Android 5.0 Lollipop)
- Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipset
- Octa-core processor
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB internal storage
- Quick Charge 2.0
- LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
Not much, right?
Give it a week or around two and we will start receiving fresh leaks regarding the specifications. Of course, we will keep you posted.
Coming back to specifications, I’m hoping to see some improvements in the CPU section, especially to improve the game playing experience.
The chipset I suppose to be part of the device can be either Snapdragon 618 or 620. Also, it won’t be a big surprise if Yu uses MediaTek chipset which are gaining popularity these days.
Also, the Yu Yuphoria is codenamed Project Caesar for that moment and it is feeling like it’s on its way.
There are already second versions of last year champions arrived like Xiaomi Redmi 2, Moto E (2nd Gen), etc. One model of Asus ZenFone 2 is also expected to be available in the same price group.
Let’s see who wins the battle this time. My bet is on Moto E!
