YU named it and now You can buy it. During today’s event in New Delhi, YU Televentures (a smartphone brand backed by Micromax) has launched its expected and much teased YU YUPHORIA smartphone.
The device is said to be available exclusively on Amazon.in and its first flash sale is scheduled on May 21st.
The device is said to arrive surprisingly in the metal body with few fresh design tweaks. The body to ratio percentage is 65 and the camera at the rear side are placed and its design is inspired by Saturn rings.

The device is powered by Snapdragon 410 chipset which consists of quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and 64-bit architecture. A slot for microSD card is also the part of devices.
8MP and 5MP are the camera units, both at rear and front, respectively. The rear one has autofocus and LED flash while the front one has fixed the focus.

With all this stuff, YU YUPHORIA measures just 8.25mm in thickness and weighs 143 grams.
Its parent company Micromax, has also launched the Canvas Spark in the same price group (but with cheaper price tag of 5k INR) last month, but YUPHORIA is definitely a good upgrade because of 2GB RAM.
The device will be available in two color options, black with silver and white with gold. You can register for the first flash sale on Amazon.in at 5pm onwards, starting today.
Do let us know whether or not this YUPHORIA came out as expected. I’m definitely surprised by the use of metal in build quality in this price range and combination of 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.
In the same event, YU has also launched YuFit, a fitness tracker at a price of 999INR and powered by HealthifyMe app which we already reviewed. One more health gadget announced is HealthYu which is priced 4,999INR.
YU YUPHORIA unit is going to be available at 6,499INR on Amazon.in.
Stay tuned for more updates.
